Anna Lüdi was born in 1970 in Bern and lives now in Biel, Switzerland. From 1992 until 1997 she attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Biel and studied ceramics at the Academy of Applied and Fine Arts in Bern. Her life and work are influenced by her several stays abroad. Amongst other places, she lived on the South Island of New Zealand.

Anna Lüdi is creating sculptures as well as domestic ware. She has displayed her work during the last years at exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, such as recently at the Design Biennale in Luzern (2006) or at the Zepter International Design Award 2005 in Paris. Her works have won several awards.

Today, Anna Lüdi shares a workshop with Verena Meier and Andreas Ryser in Worben, Switzerland.
